Friends and Family Workshop: Letterpress Stationery – $75 for per family member or friend (12 yrs and older)

Print your own letterpress cards from a selected assortment of ink.paper.plate PRESS designs. In this short class you’ll get to print your own thank you cards, birthday cards or novelty greeting cards by yourself or with a group of family and friends. 1 group per class session.

• Duration:2.5 hours of instruction and printing time.
• Materials included: Cotton paper, ink, letterpress plate and blocks provided for printing 50 note cards with envelopes per person. *Additional press time, paper, envelopes and packaging for purchase.

Friends and Family Workshop: Silkscreening on Fabric – $75 for per family member or friend (12 yrs and older)

Print your own silkscreen from a selected assortment of ink.paper.plate PRESS designs. In this short class you’ll get to print your own dishtowel by yourself or with a group of family and friends. 1 group per class session.

• Duration:2.5 hours of instruction and printing time.
• Materials included: 2 natural floursack cotton dishtowel, silkscreen and ink, provided for printing per person. *Additional printing time and towels for purchase. Students are welcome to bring additional natural fiber textile items to print

Friends and Family Workshop: Blockprinting on Silk – $75 for per family member or friend (12 yrs and older)

Design and create a pattern to print on to fabric. In this short class you’ll get to design, carve, and print your block onto your own fabric (natural fibers only) or a silk scarf

• Duration: 2.5 hours of instruction and printing time.
• Materials included: 1 Silk scarf, ink, rubber block, tools provided to produce 1 hand printed scarf per person. *Additional Silk scarves available for purchase $10-20 each (small – large)

Intro to Linoleum Printing (Linocut) Class- $125 per person (18 yrs and older)

Learn or tune up on your basic linocut carving and printing skills. In this short class you’ll design, carve, and print a 1 or 2 color relief print.

• Duration: 5 hours of instruction and printing time.
• Materials included: Paper, ink, small wood blocks, tools for in studio use provided.
  *Japanese wood cut tool set available for purchase $30

Intro to Woodcut Class- $125 per person (15 yrs and older)
Learn basic woodcut and printing skills. In this short class you’ll design, carve, and print a 1 or 2 color relief print.

• Duration: 5 hours of instruction and printing time.
• Materials: Paper, ink, small wood blocks, tools for in studio use provided. *Japanese wood cut tool set available for purchase $30

Color Woodcut Class- $250 per person (18 yrs and older)
Continue to advance your woodcut and printing skills. In this two day class you’ll design, carve, and print a multicolor relief prints using a variety of techniques (multiple block, reduction block).

• Duration: 10 hours of instruction and printing time.
• Materials: Paper, ink, small wood blocks, tools for in studio use provided. *Japanese wood cut tool set available for purchase $30

Going BIG: Intermediate Relief Printing (Linocut) Class- $350 per person (17 yrs and older)
Tune up your relief printing skills. In this short class you’ll get individual technical advice and coaching on designing, carving, and editioning large scale. Participating in the printing a large scale edition.

• Duration: 8 hours of printing demonstration, instruction and individual printing time.
• DAY 1: Large scale print planning and printing considerations.
• DAY 2: Finish and print completed block
• Materials: Bring your image ideas/sketches and paper. 24″ x 36″ or 18 x 24″ lino and Rives Lightweight paper will be available for purchase.
